Thirst is a fantasy novel by Christopher Pike and is about a girl named Alisa Perne who is the last vampire on this earth that has roamed the earth for thousands of years. She has kept her secret forever hidden, but as she falls in love with this strange guy who is not a vamp, she breaks her long-held promise with this powerful man she met conures ago. In the end, she turns him into a vamp because they were about to die and she didn't want either of them to die.
