Reading Challenge- The Last Olympian

This is the 5th and last book in the Percy Jackson series. The book starts when Percy and Charles Beckendorf, son of Hephaestus, go to blow up the base of the titans, the cruise ship ‘Princess Andromeda’. They succeed, but however Bekendorf is killed doing it. He finds himself in Poseidon’s underwater palace, and he finds it is being attacked by the titan army, and the palace is very weak. When he arrives at camp-half-blood, the grand prophecy is told to him. It is:
“A half blood of the eldest gods
Will reach 16 against all odds
And see the world in endless sleep
The hero’s soul, cursed blade shall reap
A choice he shall make to end his days
Olympus to preserve or raze”
(Or something like thatJ) Anyways, thinking he is going to die in the end, he agrees to Nico de Angelo’s plan, to dip in the river Styx to make him immortal, while the monster Typhon, a monster of unimaginable power, fights the weakening gods, and Kronos’ army goes closer and closer to Olympus, with only the half-bloods to defend it. I really like this book. This is the end of the series, and reveals many things, and contains the final battle. This is very interesting book, and I recommend the series to you.

Note: the movie is much different, and in my opinion, worse. Read the books.
