Distant Waves

Distant Waves is a novel of the TITANIC by Suzanne Weyn. It is about a mother and her 5 daughters, Amelie, Emma, Jane, Mimi and Blythe. They all go aboard on the Titanic, and even though in different classes, they still meet together and discuss their great adventure on the largerst ship at the time, the Titanic. It is not a realistic book because in the story their mother can 'supposedly' hear dead spirits and they can talk through her. That is her buisness; people who miss their lost loved ones go to her and ask her to find a particular spirit so that they can talk through her. That's how she earns large sums of cash to support her family without a husband. It is a really good book although the beginning is quite boring, like most other books.
