Reading Challenge- The Search for the Red Dragon

This is the second book in the second book in the Chronicles of the Imaginarium geographica series. (The first is Here there be Dragons) The book starts 9 years after Here there be Dragons. Jack John and Charles meet again, and they find a girl with wings called Laura Glue, who has com from the archipelago, sent by Peter Pan, with a message: The crusade has begun. The girl has come searching for the caretaker of the Geographica, but she thinks the caretaker is Sir James Barrie, the man that John replaced. They take her to see him, and find out that James (or Jamie) recognises her, but the arrival of their old friend Bert brings more bad news: all the children of the archipelago have disappeared. To find out what happened to them, Jack, John, Charles, Bert, and Aven will have to journey to the underneath of the archipelago, where new friends, enemies, and surprises wait. Overall, I think this is a great book. It is very well written, with tensions and mysteries, and it makes you ask questions, but it won’t make sense without reading the first book first.
