Reading Challenge- Dragons of Deltora

I like this book, it is interesting, full of surprises, and it is a collection of all the 3rd books in the 3rd Deltora series, Dragons of Deltora. (The first 2 are Deltora quest and Deltora Shadowlands.) It starts when Lief receives news that crops and food are dying everywhere in Deltora. Then he gets another piece of information- It is happening because of the Shadow Lord’s creations, the 4 sisters. Each sister is hidden at the 4 corners of Deltora, each one has a guardian, and each one can only be destroyed by the Deltoran dragons, which have been believed to have gone extinct when the Shadow Lord attacked. However, when Lief accidentally awakens the Topaz dragon, he discovers the truth- the dragons were hunted down by the Ak-Baba until there was only one left of each territory. Then, the great explorer convined each of the dragons to go into hiding and hibernation until the king calls them. He also promises them to swear an oath to not take advantage of the other dragon’s sleep and invade. However, when he discovers the sisters, it is too late. Lief is then handed a map fragment that tells him that the first sister, the sister of the east, is in dragon’s nest, in the territory of the ruby. So Lief, Barda, and Jasmine set out on a journey around the kingdom to awaken the last dragons and destroy the sisters and their evil guardians, who have sold their life to the shadow lord. I recommend this boo, and I like it, because it is exciting and interesting, though it can be a bit scary. You can buy the books seperateely if you wan to. They are Dragon’s Nest, Shadowgate, Isle of the Dead, and The Sister of the South. Overall score = 8.2/10.
