This is the story of a girl named Edith Lorrimer. This tells us about a Victorian Workhouse where people go, in this story sadly some people die but others run away or get punished. For me when I read it it is sad and violent also adventurous. It is in a diary form and it is very good so please read it and find out.Also this diary has over 100 pages and those pages are worth it and you don't think diaries have a story but this one does and i bet that you will like it.
