Eragon - book 9 & 10

Eragon is a boy of fifteen, of which the fates have chosen to make him the first rider of the generation - living up to his name Eragon who was the first Elven rider as well. The Ra'zac, serants of the king Galbatorix, attack Carvahall, Eragon's home village when they realize that the dragon egg of Saphira is there, but it is too late. The magnificent blue egg has already hatched, making Eragon it's rider.

After the Ra'zac destroy all that Eragon had once loved, he escaped with Saphira, and the help of the story teller Brom, or so Eragon thought. Brom's past was much more complex than Eragon could ever imagine.

The two men of Carvahall set out on their journey to avenge Garrow, Eragons uncle who the Ra'zac slayed. Eragon learns the ways of a rider, and meets many friends, but many foes. One of which, is Murtagh, an excellent swordsman, with a heart of steel but his past was haunted, and his fate is seal to doom.

Eragon is an amazing book that draws in any reader, and keeps you begging for more. It shows the transformation of a young farm boy, into a strong proud rider,pushed on by revenge and the will to free the kingdom from the cursed rule of Galbatorix
