This is a very funny book about Matilda, a young genius, book-lover girl. When she was 5, she could read many books from many great authors and do maths like year 6 or 7. Her parents, somehow were not very interested in that and they called her liar or cheeky whenever she said something amazing. Matilda came up with many naughty ideas to pay back and there were more when she started to go to school. The headmistress, Ms.Trunchbull was a very tough woman, she proud of toughness and could throw any child outside the window because she used to throw hammer for Britain in the Olympic. Ms.Honey is totally different, nice and very kind to her students, everyone loves her. Then Matilda discovered her special power and let her into many adventures.
