In this book, Torak and Renn set off to the Far North in search of Wolf, after he was captured. Along the way, they are helped by the White Fox clan. They soon find out that the Soul Eaters were behind the disappearence of their beloved Wolf. Torak puts himself into a dangerous position to get Wolf back, and the Soul Eaters find out his true identity, and Torak learns a haunting secret about his father.
