Reading challenge 6th book

Title : The Lions of Al-Rassan _ 582 pages

This book is a novel about medieval Spain which was home to the three faiths : Kindath, Asharite and Jaddite, Al-Rassan had a beauty and violent history. The story was about the journey of Rodrigo Belmonte - a military leader; Ammar ibn Khairan- poet, diplomat, soldier and Jehane bet Ishak- a brilliant physician and the events that take Al-Rassan to the brink of war. This a very dramatic book that if you stop reading it you won't understand what's going on. Guy Gavriel Kay ( the author) has written a very deeply book about love, meaning of life and divide loyalties. According to me, this is kind of a book for adults because there are some grown-up parts in it but "The Lions of Al-Rassan" is still a fantastic book!

Isn't this the book that we had to read for the World Scholar's club?
