Overview:It's a story about King Henry V who had just became the king of England. Before he had his throne he was a playboy but now he had changed. He was trying his best to be a good king.
He also thought that he might have a reason to be the king of France as well. Henry wanted to talk to the of Canterbury. The Archbishop told Henry that he did had the right to be the king and that the Church would raise money to pay for the War.
Henry met the messengers from France, they brought him a present of tennis ball as a joke, which made Henry outraged. Now he had another reason to fight.
During this time he had learned that three of his nobles were traitors and so he ordered that they would be sentenced to death.
The King of France on the other hand was worried. The English had arrived in France! He remembered that the English had won in the past battles.
The dauphin wasn't worried at all. He assured the king that Henry is still a playboy and can't cause any harm to the French.
Henry landed with his army in Harfleur and attacked the town. They dug a tunnel, made a siege which lasted for six weeks, but his soldiers were getting tired. The King was determined and made them want to fight and fight to win.
His Soldiers came from different parts of Britain: Ireland, Scotland and Wales . Because of
that they started arguing about different ways of fighting when suddenly they heard the blowing of trumpets. The people of Harfleur wanted to talk to King Henry.
King Henry told them to surrender or his army would to terrible things with the people. The dauphin had refused to help them and so the Governer had to surrender the town to Henry.
The French King asked all his nobles to join in the fight and he was sure that they will win as they had a bigger army.
The next day was the fight, some of the soldiers were nervous but Henry assured them they are brave enough to fight with them.
Suddenly everything that the French had planned was turning upside down. They were losing!The French started another attack. Henry was worried, he told his soldiers to kill the prisoners.
The French soldiers stole all thier opponents luggage, including King Henry's. When Henry knew tha, he was very and asked his soldiers to show no mercy on them.
Now,
opponents were counting the number of dead-ones. France had lost 10,000 soldeirs including the nobles and prince while English had lost only 25. And so the English won!
Then King Henry met the Royal Family. They wanted to make peace. Henry talked to Princess Katherine too. She was beautiful; he told her that he loved her and asked her to be his wife. She liked him too.
The French King agreed to everything the English wanted. He agreed for thier marriage too.
At this moment, it seemed that there would be peace at last between these two countries.
