This is the Eighth book in the "Legacy of the Force" series about a war going on between The Galactic alliance and the Confederate forces. A jedi goes to train with a bounty hunter to try and learn tactics to take down her brother, the dark lord in charge of the opposite side. Also another jedi tries to find out who really killed his mother, and both sides draw closer to a full scale war, with deals appearing. on both sides, as the fate of the war hangs in the balance. It is interesting but a bit long.
