makeover magic - reading challenge

Makeover magic is a story about a girl who is the 'style goddess' in school. she is called Lucy, her best friend is Jules, she has a secret liking to Jules' brother and her dad abandoned her, her mom and her brother and she thinks that he doesnt love her anymore. the story begins when she finds a girl being bullied by Gina. she ignores it at first, but when she gets home, she reads this book that her cousin send it to her from USA. she does this quiz about being a 'stand up babe' and she scored 0 points, but she wants to be a 'stand up babe' so she thinks of a plan to make Matilda-Jane not get bullied anymore and be more confident. Jules totally think that Lucy is giving up her BFF for Matilda-Jane. Lucy try to explain to Jules that she is just trying to be a 'stand up babe', but Jules wont believe her. Lucy carries on her plan (taking Matilda-Jane to the disco and make her stand out). Lucy even makes her a nickname which is Tilda. She talks to Jules and they make up to each other and Jules help Lucy to make operation Tilda a success. at the last minute Tilda cant go, Lucy lies to Tilda's dad so they can go to the disco (and so that she could finally be a stand up babe). when they get home Tilda's dad finds out and he abandons tilda to ever speak with Lucy anymore. the next day Jules and her think of a plan for Tilda to talk to them again and since he hasn't seen Jules before, they decide to make Jules a type of girl Tilda's dad would let her be friends with. before tilda and her dad gol into the car, Jules introduces herself and invites Tilda over for a sleepover with her on Saturday (he says yes). Before the sleepover they planned that Lucy would also come and they would sort the friendship back together. on the day of the sleepover lucy finds out that jules doesnt really like tilda and that she is only doing it for lucy, she even asks if they're not going to be friends with her after the sleepover and lucy lies to jules and answered no (but she really likes tilda and wants to be friends with her). at the sleepover they told secrets, played twister and watched movies. at the middle of the night she goes downstairs for a snack and found JJ (jules' brother and lucy's crush). she accidently tells him that she has a secret liking to him and her said that she is sweet, nice and funny, but he already has a girlfriend and thinks that he is too old for her and that on the right age she could start going out with other boys. before tilda's dad picked her up, tilda said that her dad should accept who she is and who she is friends with and hopes that he could call her tilda. so when he knocked on the door the 3 of them answered and tilda did her talking. her dad understands that lucy was only trying to help her, so he apologizes to lucy and accept who she is and who she is friends with and he will call her tilda from now on. after they left Jules said that she thinks that tilda is nice and will be her friend.
lucy then went to her dads place and chatted and he even bought her favorite drink when she was young and when he listens to what she said, she thinks that he really still loves her.
