death by bikini- reading challenge

Aphra lives in a tropical island with her dad, though her life isnt as glamorous as other people think. her mom isnt there to share it with her, she doesnt meet much kids there, so she doesnt have any friends(except for employees).

her life gets more exciting when the mysterious Mulo family arrives at the resort and stay at a villa that isnt supposed to be occupied yet. Their information isnt in the computer , which it should be, and her dad wont let her know anything about the family except that he says that she shouldnt get near them and he never says why.

the night they came to the hotel she saves the youngest member of the Mulo family and discovers that his name is Seth Mulo. the next day while cleaning the pool she influences a guest to swim at the sea. While showing a japanese guest that she met earlier around the resort they went to the beach and found a guest dead (the one that she convinced earlier). she also spots the dad of seth peeking from a tree and she suspects that it was him who killed her. she tries to ask seth, but he wont budge so she uses the internet to search background information there is nobody to the name of seth mulo, but she find a newspaper article from the town he was from and she figured out that seth's name is adam and that he faked death, so he is in hiding with his family.

Another guy comes and she thinks that he is here to assassin the Mulos. she doesnt allow it because she likes seth and need to find more about him. she tells seth what she knows and he tells his parents she promises to keep the secret (which she already told the japanese guest) then she uses herbs to poison the 'assassin' so thath he cant kill the Mulos and when her dad suddenly gets sick she takes care of him and figures out that seth's (adam) dad is a doctor. she convises him to take care of her dad. she sneaked out of the room, dresses herself as seths mother and leads who she thinks is the assassin to the forest and near a cave seth shows up and the assassin who is the Japanese guest shot his shoulder with her gun. Aphra is shocked to see him there so she dives in the pond and giving seth a sign to follow, she didnt know that he was shot until they arrived at the cave and on the way back to the resort she finds the guy who she thought was the assassin with a swollen eye and turns out that he was the guy who tried to save the mulos. so he shot the japanese guest and followed them back to the resort. when they got there, her dad was way better and dr. mulo told them that he had to leave soon because he cant stay too long in a place. so seths family left.
