Dominic Gordon was a normal 15 years old kid, who doesn't have a great grade report but has a great talent in art until he found out that he had a brother. He found an old photo of a young boy who looks exactly like him but the picture has taken long time ago. He was curious and asked his mother about that boy and he finally know that the boy was his older brother but he has died quite about 15 years ago. Young Dominic wanted to know more about his older brother who also called as Dominic so he went to Cambridge University where his brother used to study. He met some good people who treated him like their family : Zita, a student of his mother; Giles and Becky - his brother's best friends and Professor Holt, an expert in genetics. Even though he has also met some not so good people : Simeon, Professor Holt's husband and Leanne Kelsey, a very rude and mean journalists. At first, Dominic just wanted to know more about his brother but then he found out something else, something bigger about him. When Simeon was talking to Imogen ( professor Holt) about sending Dominic home, he found out that he was a copy from his older brother. A copy means the exactly same appearance, voice and also birthmark. He was so surprised and also scared because he has just found out that he is not normal , " a freak of nature" because Imogen has cloned him from his brother. He ran away but also kept on finding the truth. Meanwhile the whole world is debating about Wishart and his project of clone a baby girl from her mother. Dominic scared that the media would catch him so Giles, Becky, Pops ( Dominic's grandpa) and his cat escaped to Scotland. Everything was fine until Leanne Kelsey could manage to find out where they live. She persuaded Dominic to follow but no use. Imogen tried to protect Dominic from Leanne and both of them fell down the cliff.
Happy ending : Mum went to stay with Dominic, Giles, Becky and Pops; Dominic's father went to Australia for a new life.
